Dipika Pallikal

She was born on 21 September 1991. She has won the German, Dutch, French, Australian and Scottish Opens. Dipika Pallikal full name is Dipika Rebecca Pallikal. Dipika has just come out in the open to show the world that she can do India proud in Squash. She got membership to the India Cements Squash Academy in 2002, became the National Champion at the age of 11 and never looked back.

This young lady has the rare distinction of being the first Indian Squash player to be ranked No. 1 in the European and Asian Squash Ranking (under 15 category). Since the age of 11 Dipika has won several titles, both nationally and internationally. Dipika is being sponsored by the L.N. Mittal Trust. Dipika trains at the ICL-TNSRA Academy at Chennai under Cyrus Poncha and Major(Rtd) S. Maniam.

She is also into modeling and has signed a contract with Globus Ltd. She has appeared in an ad for the Sri Lankan company Ole (a branch of Coca Cola) which was splashed all over Sri Lanka a few months ago. Dipika was offered to star in Tamil movies, which she refused for the moment as squash was her passion.
