Main Aur Mrs Khanna Review

Main Aur Mrs Khanna is yet another romantic drama set in the contemporary world. Directed by debutant Prem Soni, the movie stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles along with Sohail Khan. Diwali week when every other film in town is over-advertised and over-blown, one was expecting Main Aurr Mrs Khanna to be a sleeper surprise. Directed by debutante Prem Soni, Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna could’ve been an interesting story had the drama quotient been a bit stronger.

The story revolves around Samir (Salman Khan) and Raina [Kareena Kapoor] who are married and settled in Melbourne, when suddenly Samir has a downfall in his career so he decides to shift base to Singapore and start afresh while he sends his wife off to her parents’ house in Delhi. Thrown in is some situational comedy, courtesy Govinda, who plays troubled Salman’s friend. Also thrown in is some music, courtesy the situational dreams of Samir and Akash as they eye the very eyeful Mrs Khanna at suitable intervals throughout the film. Sadly, neither the comedy brings forth your involuntary guffaw, nor does the music manage to make your feet tap.
