National Brain Research Centre

National Brain Research Centre established by Government of India on 16 December 2003 under the department of Bio-technology as an autonomous institution. It has been accorded as deemed university. NBRC has celebrated its first annual festival Tantrika in 2008. Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience are the main topics researched here. Research areas include Developmental Neuroscience, Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience, Systems and Cognitive Neuroscience, Computational and Theoretical Neuroscience.

This festival was a huge success with sponsership from commercial organizations and donations from students and staff. National Brain Research Center conducts various doctoral and post-doctoral programs in areas related to neuroscience and brain research.
