NMDC FPO

The consequence is slated to hit the market on March 10 and close on March 12. The price-band will be fixed on March 8. German Bakery Blast

The blast that ripped the German Bakery claimed 13 lives so far and left around 57 others injured. This is the first terror attack since the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, 15 months ago. The German Bakery is a popular haunt of foreigners like Leopold restaurant in Mumbai — in fact, both are mentioned by the Lonely Planet tourist guide and are therefore patronised by many backpackers. The police had erected a pandal at the blast site to prevent people from destroying or tampering with evidence at the crime scene. The blast site was inspected by several agencies including the National Investigating Agency and ATS teams from Gujarat, Chennai. Bollywood actors Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor paid their tributes to the victims, who lost their lives in the February 13 blast, by taking part in a candlelight vigil in the vicinity of German Bakery.

Shahid Azmi

Shahid Azmi often joked that he would be felled by bullets. Shahid Azmi, who was opposing one of the key accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks trial, was shot dead in his office late evening. Four assailants barged into his office in Taxi Men colony in Kurla and shot two bullets into him at point blank range. At the tender age of 15, Azmi was caught for violence during the communal riots that rocked Mumbai between December 1992-January 1993 Among other things, Azmi’s client Fahim – a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) activist – is charged with preparing the groundwork to help the perpetrators of the terror attacks.
